Our House 10:10 solution is a unique, off-the-peg package of standard detached and semi -detached 2, 3, & 4 bedroom homes. Architecturally designed, type approved, Local Building Control compliant and UK manufactured. Using 100% sustainable construction methods and materials, the buildings achieve ‘Passivhaus’ (passive house) standards, facilitating low cost of ownership, and full compliance with all national building control code - BBA, CE, ICC-ES, as well as 10 year NHBC or equivalent warranty, and fully approved by the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

Build it.

The groundwork and other site preparation is completed by others in advance. Our partners are able to install the foundation system for 1 detached or semi-detached building every 3 days, followed by the assembly and installation of the required superstructure, roof covering, all windows and doors, ensuring the building is water-tight in a further 7 days. For the next 10 weeks, each detached or semi-detached building is completed with its internal fitout and external finishes, ready for occupation.

There are several assessment techniques which allow whole-life costings for fundamental parts of the build process. It has become possible to demonstrate higher initial costs result in lower long-term ‘cost of ownership’, environmental impacts and greater long-term benefits when sustainable methods are used. Demonstration of ‘actual performance in use’ may be necessary through EPC’s (Energy Performance Certificates) or DEC’s (Display Energy Certificates)
